I come from a long line of well-respected London Master
Tradesmen and can trace my ancestry back to 1706. In each generation there have
been either Chair Makers, French Polishers or Cabinet Makers.
Many of the hand tools I use today are the same ones used by my great
grandfather who was a chair maker in Bethnal Green, London in the late 1800's.
Established in Nottinghamshire as a Cabinet Maker and Furniture Restorer for over 28 years
following a 4 year apprenticeship, I have gained a wealth of experience and
knowledge in the design and construction of furniture through the ages.
Over the last few years I've been working with local
foresters who own/manage woodlands in Sherwood Forest.
As a result I now make an exclusive range of furniture in using English timbers such as Oak, Sweet
Chestnut and Yew called Forest2Furniture .

There's a saying that goes something like "children do make a difference to a home but it can be repaired" well the same applies to dogs!
The images below are of a victorian Mahogany tea table brought to me a few months ago that got in the way when a labrador was charging through the house.
The first 2 photos are of the resulting damage to the leg after being hit by 30kg of brainless muscle. The last photo is of the table once I'd repaired it, ready for the customer to collect.
